Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause has tragically lost her mother to cancer, just one year on from her father’s death.
The reality star took to Instagram to inform fans on her loss, and leave a touching tribute to her mum.
Posting a montage of photographs alongside her, Chrishell wrote: “In disbelief that you are gone.”
She added: “Feeling just about every emotion, but I find comfort knowing Dad is up there taking care of you and showing you the ropes like only he could.
“Absolutely heartbreaking watching you take your last labored breath, but there is a peace knowing you two are together again, free from the pain that plagued your time here.”
The TV favourite signed off: “A free spirit and rebel till the very end. My beautiful Mom, in your own words #F**kCancer.”
In her tribute, Chrishell went on to thank to the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center, in particular Debbie and Pam who, she says, helped to “lovingly assist [her] mum to the other side”.
“Your kindness and care in this time will never be forgotten,” she wrote.
The estate agent revealed her mum’s cancer diagnosis back in Feburary, and updated fans on her journey ever since.
Last month, she shared a video giving her mum a wig that she had previously worn.
“So I wore this wig many years ago to the American Music Awards just for fun to change it up. But now since my mom has lost her hair from cancer treatment, I felt like what better time to dust it off and have a little fun??” she told fans in a post.
“Here’s me teaching my mom to give a good soap turn-hair flip.”
The sad news comes after Chrishell lost her father to cancer in April 2019.
She’s had a tough time recently, also having filed from divorce from her husband of two years, Justin Hartley, who stars in This Is Us.
The pair confirmed the split in November, citing “irreconcilable differences” in court documents.
We’re thinking of Chrishell right now.
